The 4th IWC TQM 2007 report was accepted at the annual CIRP organization meeting held in Paris on 25 January 2008. The preparation and organization of the 5th IWC TQM 2009 to be held from 1st to 4th June, 2009 in Belgrade, Serbia was given support.

What is IWC TQM ?

The Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Belgrade, that is, its Laboratory for Production Metrology and TQM established this Conference in 2001, with the support of the best-known scientific and professional organizations in the country and the world. The first Conference was held from 24th  to 27th  June, 2001 at Palic, the second from 26th  to 28th May, 2003 in Kragujevac, the third from 30th May to 1st June, 2005 in Belgrade, and the 4th from 27th to 30th May 2007, also in Belgrade. 312 participants attended this Conference from  25 countries including Australia, Asia, Europe, South and North America. Three plenary sessions, 7 paper sessions two workshops and two round table discussions were held.

The main objective of the 5th Conference is to provide an international forum for the exchange of knowledge, experience, research results and information about various aspects of the state-of-the-art and the future development of total quality management.

A special session will be dedicated to discussion of Ph. D. Thesis. An international committee will assign an award to the best Ph. D. Thesis.

Papers and Proceedings

Prospective authors are invited to send their contributions on relevant topics. Papers may be submitted by e-mail in a Word file. The length of the paper should be 6A4 pages; 1.0 space typing; use Arial 10 point font. For the anonymity of review; please identify the following information separately: the title; author's full name; affiliation; address; e-mail address; telephone and fax numbers. Authors of accepted papers will be expected to sign a copyright release allowing publication in the proceedings. Pre - proceedings will be available before the Conference.

After the Conference; the Proceedings with selected papers which will under a second review; RTD and workshop  discussion and conclusion will be published in the International Journal “Total Quality Management &  Excellence”.

The registration fee for the Conference is EURO 150; if paid before 15th May 2009. After that date; the fee is EURO 200. For the registration fee please contact the Conference Secretariat.
